The host Barbara gave us an amazing welcome, making us feel right at home. The apartment was perfect, located just a stone's throw away from the incredible swimming pool, pristine beach, and lively town center. All the amenities we needed were provided, including pool towels and sunbed mattresses. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we opted to dine at the nearby Odjo d'Agua restaurant, which offered breathtaking views of the sea. The location of the resort was unbeatable, with the apartment being just steps away from the pool and the ocean, as well as the charming Santa Maria village center. Unlike other resorts, which are far from the village, this one had a relaxed atmosphere and stunning views. As a tip, we found a much cheaper island tour option at a local office, saving us a ton of money. the property was fantastic, with a spacious apartment, a fantastic balcony view, and a perfect location. The host Ron was exceptional, providing excellent communication and assistance throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful holiday experience.

Lovely apartment, STUNNING location in gardens. Setting just next door to the bars and restaurants in Santa Maria, shops and lovely beach, great dining options and souvenir shops. 0 minutes walk to Praia de Santa Maria.

Just had a fantastic one-night stay at Porto Antigo. Barbara, our host, gave us a warm welcome and the apartment was great. It was conveniently located near the pool, beach, and town center. All amenities were provided, including pool towels and sunbed mattresses. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the complex was quiet. Highly recommended!

Bed was very comfy and there were coffee/tea making machines, a multi-channel television, and a dining area in the room. Had a bathtub. The location was great, relatively close to Funana Casa da Cultura. Ron made everything for all of us❤🙂

The location of the hotel is exceptional, with beautiful gardens and a pool view. It is just a few steps away from the lovely beach and offers plenty of dining options nearby. The spacious and beautifully furnished apartment provides a cozy atmosphere, and the new equipment allows for cooking.

The hotel service mentioned in the description was not experienced by some guests, and there were issues with the sewage that caused unpleasant smells around the apartment and pool area.

The room was amazing! It felt like a cozy home away from home with a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. As an adventure traveler, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring Santa Maria.

Although some apartments had a limited ocean view, I personally prefer a room with a more expansive view.

The apartment was cozy and well-furnished, with all the amenities we needed. The balcony had a fantastic view, perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and the town center. We loved being able to explore the local shops and restaurants. One of the best parts was the warm welcome we received from the host, who was friendly and informative.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. The folding bed in the living room was a bit soft, but it wasn't a major issue for our kids.

I also appreciated the provided pool towels and sunbed mattresses. the kitchen outfit was complete, although I didn't get a chance to use it. Instead, I had a fantastic dinner at the nearby Odjo d'Agua restaurant, enjoying the breathtaking sea view. I highly recommend Porto Antigo Holidays for its great location, picturesque setting, and relaxed atmosphere. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👌.

I was really excited to explore the Botanical Garden & Zoo di Terra, so I chose Porto Antigo Holidays for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the housekeeping service provided once per stay. The on-site restaurant also impressed me with its delicious variety of British, African, and French dishes.

My stay at Porto Antigo Holidays was incredible! I definitely got great value for my money. The room, apartment nr. 60 on the 2nd floor, was spacious and beautifully furnished with a cozy atmosphere. The location was absolutely perfect, right on the beach with plenty of dining options and shops nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

When it comes to the breakfast offerings, one suggestion would be to add a wider variety of hot food options.
